Metarex is a 4% metaldehyde slug & snail bait manufactured to the highest of standards using exclusive, wet-process technology, which provides it with superior weatherability, uniformity, palatability, and control. This reduced rate technology makes it possible for Metarex to deliver numerous, unique benefits to growers, all while requiring usage rates nearly half those of
competitive products.
Outlasts – introduces reduced rate technology with improved effectiveness for longer treatment intervals using less product.
Maximum palatability – preferred by slugs snails 3-to-1 over vegetables (fresh carrots & lettuce).
Highest quality – food-grade ingredients and our unique manufacturing process promotes maximum feeding.
Resists heavy watering – holding their shape longer than competitive pellets.
Best Uniformity (no dust) – Consistent size enables better flow, less waste, easier application, and easy clean-up of hand-held and commercial spreaders.
Highest Pellet count per pound – for superior coverage and maximum control.
Less passes over the field: Metarex can be broadcast 40-60 feet with consistent coverage.
Maximum baiting points – Slugs have to travel less to each the bait - especially less-mobile juvenile snails and slugs.
Save Time & Product: Highly visible blue color makes for more easier and quicker verification of treated areas.
